Patchwork for Beginners with Janet & Ricky, £75 (£35 deposit)
In 9 sessions, you’ll learn all that’s needed to complete a quilt. Making a sampler, you will learn how to rotary cut, machine or hand piece blocks, complete the top with sashing and borders, and finish the quilt top.
Patchwork for Improvers with Janet & Ricky, £75 (£35 deposit)
Come and improve your skills under our watchful eye and gain confidence by working on your own project or one of many we can suggest.
Both courses run for 9 Wednesdays: starting 11 January
Mornings 1000-1230, Afternoons 1400-1630, or Evenings 1900-2130

Quilt Group with Ricky, £3
Every Tuesday, 1000-1200 starting 10 January
This group will run each week and will concentrate on hand sewing. You will work on your own projects but we hope that as the group evolves, we will introduce charity or group challenges. Advice will be given for anyone needing it, but this is not a teaching session. Sewing groups are always great fun and are a good way to meet new people and get new ideas. Everyone welcome. Complementary tea, coffee and biscuits. No booking required.
Dress making with Beverly: with Beverly, £25 for one or £70 for all three (£15 deposit)
Saturday, 7 January, 11 February 1000-1600
We will be shown how to alter a commercial pattern to fit us perfectly. These three lessons will cover how to make and fit a skirt. There are limited spaces on this course which is already filling up, so let us know asap if you are interested.
Make a Quillow (workshop over two days) with Janet, £50 (£15 deposit)
Saturday, 14 & 28 January 1000-1600
Come and have two fun days making this useful quilt. This is a small quilt with a pocket attached so that it can be folded up to make a pillow. Great for all ages, for the TV room, car or wherever you need to keep warm.
Scrap Quilt with Janet and Ricky, £30 (£15 deposit)
Saturday, 21 January 1000-1600
This will be a fun day. Bring your scraps and swap with your fellow students. We also will provide a scrap box to make a unique quilt.
Appliquéd square table cloth with Ricky, £30 (£15 deposit)
Saturday, 4 February 1000-1600
We will make a tablecloth with an appliquéd and embroidered flower border. You can then quilt it by hand or machine.
Little quilts homespun look with Janet, £30 (£15 deposit)

Make a small quilt with a country look. 6” x 10” hand pieced. Packs available

Embroider the covers or just use a nice fabric to make a hand-made book. Learn to stitch the binding joining the pages together. A lovely little Journal or a keepsake for your special memories.
Make a cushion using appliqué, patchwork and embroidery with Ricky, £30 (£15 deposit)

A fun day learning how to construct country cushions, incorporating appliqué, embroidery and patchwork. It will end up as a 16” square cushion. Full
