Patchwork for Beginners with Janet & Ricky, £70 (£35 deposit)
In 9 sessions, you’ll learn all that’s needed to complete a quilt. Making a sampler, you will learn how to rotary, cut. Machine or hand piece blocks, complete the top with sashing and borders, and finish the quilt top.
Patchwork for Improvers with Janet & Ricky, £70 (£35 deposit)
Come and improve your skills by working on your own project or one of our suggestions. Farmers Wife/ Civil war blocks: These traditional blocks with a history will be sewn by hand or machine if you prefer.
Both courses run for 9 Wednesdays: 08, Sep
Mornings 1000-1230, Afternoons 1400-1630, or Evenings 1900-2130
Quilt Group with Janet & Ricky, £3
Every Tuesday, 1000-1200
This group will run each week and will concentrate on hand sewing. You will work on your own projects but we hope that, as the group evolves, we will introduce charity or group challenges. Advice will be given for anyone needing it, but this is not a teaching session. Sewing groups are always great fun and are a good way to meet ....

Get ready for Christmas early. This course will include a pre-printed panel to make an Advent calendar , wadding and backing. It should be possible to finish most of it in the day.
Dutch Treat with Ricky , £11

Beautiful blue and white or cream blocks based on Delft designs - they are hand sewn, embroidered and pieced. This is the first class of an ongoing group to meet monthly - the subsequent dates will be planned at the first class. Hand sewing.

You will be shown 3 patterns to make a sewing roll, handy bin for bits and a case for your thimble. Machine required.

This is another great time-saving way to make some fantastic quilts using 2½” strips. You’ll square up your blocks as you cut. Book included and ruler sold at a reduced cost.

Come and have two fun days making this useful quilt. This is a small quilt with a pocket attached so it can be folded up to make a pillow, great for all ages, for TV room, car or wherever you need to keep warm.

This is a chance to practice the technique, used to produce the beautiful, even quilted stitches you have admired. Learn about basting threads and quilting pattern while you begin a small whole cloth project.
